Our client is a well-established organisation in the public sector, which has recently reached a critical milestone across a number of projects.
As such, they are looking for two Power BI Developers to join their project team on a long term contract.
In this role, you will work with the Data Warehouse team and assist with the coordination, design and implementation of solution platforms.
Establish business intelligence best practices, including architecture and governance.
Work with business stakeholders to understand their reporting and data needs and develop effective BI solutions.
Help to develop datasets that are high quality, well-modelled, and available where/when needed.
Assist with business uptake of BI reports, dashboards, and self-service literacy, including through workshop facilitation.
Perform analyses and data visualisation to uncover business insights.
Key Skills and Experience:
Previous experience working in manufacturing, health or finance industries would be highly regarded.
Experience in working within an Agile environment.
Demonstrated experience in SQL development, data modelling, and data analysis.
Demonstrated expertise in BI, Data Visualisation and Data Analytics.
Expertise in Power BI, including DAX, data models, Power BI Services, and effective data visualisation and communication.
Expertise in Power BI using tabular models, Power Pivot, Power BI Desktop & Power query.
Business Intelligence design Intelligence stack (SSIS, SSAS and SSRS).
SSIS design and development of ETL workflows, SSIS automation.
6-12 month contract.
Up to $120.00 per hour
Large, ongoing program of work.
50/50 work from home split
Office based in the CBD
