Workday Integration developer's primary responsibility is to liaise with architects, developers, testers, and project team members, including project managers and other stakeholders to drive and deliver all the integration aspects of a solution to ensure it meets business requirements. This position requires practical commercial experience in integration development), along with carrying out technical leadership responsibilities in both project work and operational support.
Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills are required to succeed in this position along with experience in Agile methodology for delivery.
Key Selection Criteria
1. 4 years of commercial experience in leading integration platforms (Workday Studio, MuleESB, JBoss Fuse, , IBM ESB and Oracle Service Bus).
Ability to drive Integration design and develop ESB services based on business requirements
Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills along with the ability to react quickly to change in an agile environment
Previous experience in a similar role, leading the design and requirements phase of the projects
Strong Web Services development experience, a proven track record of developing public/enterprise APIs, strong SOA knowledge
Strong experience in large scale enterprise integration projects; design, development, testing, and implementation. 7. Hands-on experience with enterprise SQL databases: Oracle 11g, SQL Server 2012. (SQL, PL/SQL and TSQL).
Excellent debugging and diagnosis skills must be comfortable with testing, profiling and debugging tools with good understanding of TCP/IP networks.
Experience with integration and system testing, e.g. JUnit, SoapUI.
Knowledge of Agile methodology along with DevOps (CI/CD) will be highly regarded.
Experience with academic/enterprise systems (e.g. Peoplesoft and SAP) is a plus
Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills, including high quality technical documentation are required to succeed in this position
Proven ability to prioritise tasks, work to deadlines under pressure and manage complex tasks using Agile delivery methodology.
Demonstrable experience of working in complex large-scale environments and delivering to agreed timelines and quality.
. Demonstrable evidence of experience in working on Workday integrations with Workday certified partners will be preferred.
Qualifications * Tertiary qualifications in a business or computing discipline, or equivalent substantial industry experience. * Understanding of the education sector is desirable.
