An exciting role in a government department looking for more Service Desk Analysts to assist customers and clients with technical issues and provide IT solutions.
This is a service that operates 24/7 and you will be working on a rotating roster across the duration
Reporting to the Service Desk Team Leader, this role is based in Charlestown.
12 Month contract
Exciting role within a rapidly expanding government department
Provide high quality customer service and support to users to solve incidents and improve productivity impacted due to ICT issues
Manage priorities between inbound calls and queue management within the ticketing system to ensure services are delivered within allocated time frames
Provision accounts and access in line with security and approval processes
Clearly and accurately document activities and client experience/context within the ticketing system and provide true and accurate reports, while following required format and requirements
Contribute to organisational learning by identifying areas where existing documentation can be updated/created for the service desk knowledge base and existing documentation records
Participate in regular performance reviews and on - going training. Complete individual learning plan focusing on attaining customer certifications and foundational skills in customer service and service desk technologies
Prior experience in using and supporting ICT in a professional environment
Excellent communication skills
Ability to provide clear and accurate instructions
Ability to accurately document technical issues and outcomes
Exceptional time management skills
Ability to work under pressure and provide suitable solutions, escalating issues where required dependent on the situation
Ability to provide high quality customer service and problem solve on the fly
Right to work in Australia
Ability to work a 24/7 rotating roster
