Clicks' Federal Government Client is seeking a GIS and Data Officer (APS 5) for a 12 month contract engagement. You will provide science data management and geographic information system (GIS) support.
To support the system, you will:
Learn about and implement data management policies and procedures (e.g. acquisition, storage, archiving, documentation, valuation, quality assurance) of the Department of Agriculture, Water, and the Environment
Work closely with science, policy, and data management staff to plan, develop, deploy, and promote internal spatial data products (e.g. online maps and applications) using Esri ArcGIS (Portal and Pro)
Assist in the development and documentation of new data management processes as required
Prepare reports on data management compliance and quality
Maintain and developing a science information database using Microsoft Access and SharePoint, Visual Basic, and SQL
