Our Federal client is seeking a SAS Programmer with experience in designing and developing custom workflows using SAS and/or Python programming. The ideal candidate will have expertise with the SAS Viya platform, its products, and architecture. This role is based across Australia.
Duration - 12 months
Location - Location of work ACT, NSW, QLD, SA, VIC
Note : This role is open for only Australian Citizens.
About the Role
Design and develop custom workflows using SAS and/or Python programming.
Explore potential integration of Python code for SAS workflows for specific tasks where Python offers advantages. Test and debug SAS code, ensuring accuracy and efficiency of workflows.
Write and optimize SAS programs, macros, and scripts to meet business requirements. Develop and maintain complex data manipulation and statistical analysis code
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Utilise SAS procedures for data analysis, visualisations and reporting as needed.
Develop and maintain SAS reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
Collaborate with business units to define analytical requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Job Specification
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of all created workflows.
Develop and adhere to coding standards and best practices.
Stay up to date with the latest developments in SAS software and data analytics techniques.
Essential Criteria
2+ years of experience with SAS Viya platform, products, architecture, supporting technologies and implementation best practices.
Ability to associate business requirements to technical concepts and capabilities that pertains to SAS System applications and end-user needs.
Specialized in front-end programming.
Good knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, scripting languages, open-source programming, REST APIs and cloud computing technologies.
