An international company in the resources sector is currently looking for a number of Application Specialists to work on a key mining application onsite.
This role is a FIFO role on a 7x7 roster and will see you travel to work sites in the Mackay region.
Implementing system command and maximise system performance.
Through close collaboration internally and externally, you will become a trusted advisor for the customer.
Support and advise site Supervisors, Builders, Controllers and Pit Technicians in all aspects of the system performance, including minimising downtime.
Provide technical support to system on-board maintenance Supervisors and Technicians.
Support hardware and software installation and configuration through establishing Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes.
Measure, benchmark and report performance, and suggest opportunities for improvements.
Develop training and process material.
Key Skills and Experience:
Proven experience as an Application Specialist
Previous experience within the mining sector or with MineStar will be highly regarded
Knowledge of mining technology products and product applications, including Fleet Management systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Initial 6 month contract with view to extend or go permanent if preferred
$90.00-$100.00 per hour (negotiable)
