Clicks IT Recruitment is proud to be working with a large, Queensland based public sector organisation that is on the hunt for a Project Manager to join their team in the Ipswich CBD!
The Role:
Long term 18 month contract!
MUST be Ipswich or Brisbane based - will be required to be on-site 3 days a week.
Daily rates of $950-$1100 per day.
In this role, you will manage the implementation of the Assets and Works Management Project. You will oversee all aspects of project management, including new product implementation, vendor engagement, capability development, change management, and process improvement. You will lead the project team and collaborate with the Program Manager, Project Sponsor, and Project Control Group.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a complex technology and business change project through major transformation, following industry best practices and internal standards.
Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including product owners, testers, business analysts, and change managers, to ensure successful project delivery.
Develop, maintain, and communicate the project plan, covering schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and stakeholder engagement.
Control project budgets, conduct monthly forecasts, and manage expenditure within approved limits.
Monitor and evaluate project progress, including schedules and risks, and report to stakeholders and governance bodies.
Collaborate with the Change team to create and execute stakeholder and change management plans.
Manage vendors and contracts, ensuring vendor performance meets agreed standards and contractual terms.
Support project governance and participate in broader program activities.
Build and maintain positive relationships with team members and stakeholders, providing support and recognising contributions.
Contribute to improving team processes and program structures as needed.
Ensure thorough documentation and management of all project aspects.
Perform additional duties as directed, within your skills and training.
