This is an opportunity to provide technical support to an organisation that gives back to the NSW community. This role will initially run until the end of June 2022 and is based in Sydney Olympic Park, however, they are all currently working from home.
This role will be based on a rotating roster, including shifts starting at 7.30am and different shifts ending at 10pm.
The IT Support Officer will be responsible for taking and actioning service desk calls and tickets, alongside some desktop support, provisioning mobile phones and other services. Technologies include Windows 10, Active Directory and ServiceNow. The organisation are happy to take on a recent IT graduate, looking to get the first step up in to IT
Key Responsibilities include:
Utilise ITSM toolsets and application of relevant processes to address internal and external customer support queries to enable the return of user's ICT systems and networks to optimum efficiency within agreed service level agreements.
Deliver support and customer service for tickets providing first level triage and second level desktop support using appropriate systems to monitor, action and record the investigation and resolution of problems and issues.
Undertake project work as a member of virtual teams and apply standard project methodology so that lessons learnt are recorded
Investigate and escalate security breaches and risks to assist in mitigation of threats including applying appropriate, authorised permissions and documenting permission changes
Setup ICT end user devices and manage equipment failures to ensure timely restoration of service.
Order, manage and maintain mobile phone and data services
A Certificate IV in a relevant discipline, or equivalent expertise.
Experience in level 1/level 2 technical support
Experience supporting Windows technologies, including Active Directory
Experience using ticketing tools such as ServiceNow
Required to participate on an after-hours and/or on call roster.
Required to participate in a rotating, team work hours roster including weekends
