The team is looking for a Digital Service Design Specialist to join their Digital Acceptance team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in shaping our service design strategy and supporting our digital projects.
Role Overview:
As the Digital Service Design Specialist, you'll be the key person behind creating, reviewing, and implementing service design models for the organisation's digital projects.
You'll leverage rapid iteration, disruptive thinking, and a fail-fast approach to drive project success and align with ITIL service management framework.
This role is about more than just design it's about transforming how the organisation work and ensuring seamless service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement service design and end-to-end support models for new and changed services in digital projects.
- Employ creative thinking and rapid iteration to deliver innovative design solutions and achieve project objectives.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate co-design principles into the design process.
- Maintain and update Service Catalogue, OLAs, and SLAs as needed.
- Facilitate Agile service design and transition, including product document reviews and submissions.
- Lead workshops to align stakeholders on key success factors.
- Create and refine user journey maps from a service design perspective.
- Incorporate evidence-based research into service design strategies.
- Manage the Service Risk Register, escalating major risks to project managers as necessary.
- Build and sustain effective relationships with internal teams and external vendors, ensuring alignment with our service design and operational frameworks.
What they are looking for:
- A degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or a related field, with ITIL Foundation certification highly desirable.
- Proven experience in service design, design thinking, or human-centered design.
- At least 3 years of experience in service design and transition, with a strong background in Agile delivery and technical project management.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and influence stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and a knack for creative problem-solving.
- Experience working on enterprise-level projects, particularly those involving cloud environments.
- Familiarity with ITIL v3 or v4 and experience in multi-vendor, multi-team environments.
