Day-to-day management and support of available physical and virtual hardware infrastructure including:
Servers, storage, network (switches, routers, firewalls etc.), data communications (SDWAN), Microsoft Teams Rooms Systems, and VoIP systems
Day-to-day management and support of software infrastructure and related services including:
Microsoft Active Directory (On Prem and Azure AD), network services (DFS, DNS, DHCP etc.), Exchange Server (On Prem and 365), Microsoft System Center, Microsoft SharePoint (On Prem and 365),
Day-to-day management of business resilience program, including:
Backup and recovery (On Prem and Cloud)
Vulnerability detection and (patch) management
Day-to-day management of mobile device management infrastructure
Acting as escalation point for service desk
Supporting IT Team including Systems Engineer and Database Administrator
Contributing to a range of business improvement initiatives including:
SDWAN (data communications) upgrade
Exchange Online implementation
One Drive for Business implementation
Mobile device refresh
Able to engage, collaborate and communicate effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
In-depth knowledge of and demonstrable experience in Microsoft Azure, Hyper-V, Windows Server, Exchange Server, Microsoft System Center, Skype for Business and Office 365; and
High Availability Hyper-V clusters, storage area networks, backup infrastructure (ideally Veeam), monitoring and alerting tools.
Firewall infrastructure and services
VPN, MFA and PowerShell.
Excellent project and time management skills.
Exceptional problem-solving and problem management skills.
Demonstrated ability to work constructively with people from across the company and to manage and influence change for improved performance.
Ability to manage several projects/tasks concurrently.
