This role would ideally suit a senior system engineer/Tech team lead looking to step into an IT manager role
The Role Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, as the IT Manager you will foster a culture of advanced technology adoption within the business. Importantly this role is both hands on and strategic where you will be responsible for managing the digital systems, IT contractors as well as looking to the future of how our client uses technology and data to grow performance and minimise risk.
Through effective listening, collaboration, and communication with the business you will be responsible for:
Managing an effective and reliable IT system
Managing cyber-security
Fostering a culture of advanced technology adoption
Planning IT and data system upgrades
Manage day to day administration, maintenance of data systems
Evaluating software and hardware procurement recommendations
Providing or procuring IT systems training for the team
The ideal candidate will have
Ability to engage with and up skill the team
Extensive experience in managing and operating information technology and data systems
Strong cyber security experience complimented with systems maintenance and support
Relevant Tertiary qualifications
Experience in managing contracted service providers
Experience in managing Microsoft 365 cloud plus on-premise virtual server environment and backups
Ability to manage and program database software (e.g. PowerBI)
Ability to manage web servers
