Data Analytics Lead

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Data Analytics Lead to join one of Australia's leading residential care providers. This is a hands-on analytics and reporting manager role. You will work with the executive leadership team and managers to understand data needs; develop, drive and deliver the Data & Analytics strategy along with ensuring the data quality issues are addressed across the data lifecycle; and drive overall data maturity across the organisation.

In this role you will work closely with multiple areas of the business to proactively identify areas that data & analytics can support and agree roadmaps with stakeholders for data improvements. This role will require you to understand data quality issues, data gaps and work with relevant stakeholders to plan and deliver improvements to the data across the full lifecycle. This role will also require you to provide leadership in data & analytics across the organisation along with identifying capability gaps and facilitating data innovation, utilising third-party data, AI/ML, advanced and predictive analytics.

Skills Required:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or an aligned Data/Systems field
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a data & analytics
• Ability to plan and deliver successful delivery of programs of work
• Strong experience with data cleansing/data integrity practices, Microsoft SQL databases, SQL script and Data Visualisation in Power BI.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a data and analytics leadership role
• Experience in regulated industries would be an advantage
• Experience with Database design, Microsoft Azure and Data Factory would be beneficial
• Excellent problem-solving skills, negotiation & influencing skills & stakeholder management
• Strong attention to detail and outcome driven
• Ability to work independently.
