We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused IT Support Engineer to join our team. As an IT Support Engineer, your primary objective will be to provide comprehensive internal and external support for all IT-related matters. This includes application, desktop, and infrastructure support. You will play a vital role in handling the Service Desk, resolving tickets, and supporting application life cycle management.
Key Responsibilities:
working on the IT Service Desk, ensuring timely resolution of requests according to SLAs. Possess a deep understanding of IT applications and core infrastructure.
Provide desktop support to staff, demonstrating a fundamental grasp of software and hardware used by.
Identify and resolve hardware or software issues promptly.
Deliver application support to internal and external users in a timely manner.
Perform system, application support, and configuration tasks.
Escalate technical support issues to the IT Operation and Application support team members and vendors as needed.
Conduct root cause analysis for critical application support issues.
Perform user and system administration tasks, including data recovery procedures.
Accept assigned tasks from the IT Management team.
Assist with disaster recovery testing.
Handle application level user administration tasks, such as setup, changes, and removal.
Provide IT induction to new employees.
Assist IT projects with user acceptance and quality assurance testing.
Maintain and create technical documentation.
Imagine devices, set up, configure, and provide support for workstations.
Manage MDM (Mobile Device Management), including setup, configuration, and support for company mobile devices.
Education/Experience:
Information Technology degree or Diploma.
Experience in supporting Microsoft Office suite (MS365, MS Teams, etc.), Windows Operating systems, Microsoft Exchange (desirable), Citrix XenApp (desirable), and Active Directory.
Microsoft SQL query writing experience is advantageous.
ITIL certification is desirable (Understanding of ITIL).
Relevant IT vendor or industry certifications are desirable.
Experience working in the Financial industry is desirable.
