Clicks IT Recruitment is seeking a Field Services and Service Desk Technician for a client in the childcare sector. This Brisbane-based role offers hybrid work flexibility and involves providing Level 1 technical support remotely, along with occasional on-site assistance at locations across Australia.
The Role:
- Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 + Super (dependant on experience.)
- Location: Windsor, Brisbane
- Flexible work arrangements, including hybrid remote options
- Must be able to travel to sites weekly/fortnightly
The Responsibilities:
- Offer hands-on and remote support to users, addressing technical issues via phone, email, or face-to-face communication.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Keep IT documentation up to date, including creating and refining user guides and knowledge articles.
- Support the setup and configuration of hardware and software for new deployments.
- Perform regular system maintenance and updates to sustain peak performance.
- Work closely with the IT team and external vendors to address and resolve advanced technical challenges.
- Be prepared to travel to different sites, including new and existing childcare centres, to deliver on-site support as needed.
Key Skills:
- Relevant qualification in IT, industry-recognised certifications, or bring equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience in Level 1 or 2 technical support roles.
- A valid driver's license and be open to travel as needed.
- Skilled in using ticketing systems and remote desktop support applications.
- Expertise in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
- Knowledge of network setup and system administration.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 tools and Azure platforms.
- Familiarity with Ubiquiti Unifi cloud portal (desirable.)
- A strong customer-focused approach with an emphasis on delivering excellent user support.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in delivering training or onboarding sessions for end-users.
- Capable of working effectively both independently and within a team.
