A government organisation is looking for an experienced Server & System Administrator to work on a fixed term contract until 30 June 2023. The role is based in Sydney CBD.
The role will spend 80% of the time doing systems administration on Windows Server and 20% of the time doing systems administration on Linux Server.
Requirements:
8 to 10 years of experience in Windows Server administration that includes construction and maintenance of group policy objects
3 to 5 years of experience in Linux Server administration, preferably with RedHat based systems
Strong experience in managing multiple vendors and suppliers to deliver time critical, interdependent operations outcomes
Knowledge of PowerShell Scripting
Knowledge of Ansible
Understand virtual machines, networking and firewalls, to he level that they can issue intelligent tickets to Networking and Firewall teams and know how to test the results
Experience in creating and maintaining system and change documentation
Experience in delivering contemporary ICT solutions in a high profile, statutory compliance work environment
Some small project experience is a real bonus
