This role is a part of a product team responsible for design, development, testing and maintenance of V/Line's software systems.
For the given business requirements, this role will be responsible for identifying technical scope of the development tasks, estimating the effort and deliver them using best technical approach.
This role plays a crucial part in continuous improvement of the software development and operations processes and implementation of technology roadmap.
The role will also be involved in documentation and knowledge sharing, working collaboratively with the team and business departments to investigate issues, find and implement solutions.

A tertiary qualification in Computer Science, business information systems or analytical discipline is highly desirable.
You will have 5 years' relevant experience of software development including frontend and backend components using Angular, .Net Core, SQL and LINQ.
At least 2 years' experience working on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM, ECS or EKS, ElastiCache) and Docker.
You will also have experience and knowledge of SOLID principles, asynchronous programming concepts, DevOps principles and domain driven design
Your experience working in a product team supporting end to end software delivery lifecyle will set you up for success.
You will bring an adaptable, innovative and solutions focused attitude partnered with the ability to work collaboratively with DevOps Engineers, Software Developers, Solution Architects and business partners.
Strong interpersonal skills, analytical skills, problem solving and strong stakeholder engagement with the ability to partner with stakeholders at all levels will be an integral part of this role.
