Senior Recruitment Consultant

About the role 
Most recruiters know the difference between building a desk and growing one. 
This role is the second kind. 
We're looking for an experienced recruiter to take ownership of a Software Development desk covering NSW and Victoria. You'll step into an existing contractor book generating around $20k in monthly revenue, along with a permanent recruitment desk that has already generated more than $200k this year. 
The client base is established and spans Banking, HealthTech, FMCG and Consulting. The opportunity now is to build on what's already there. 
The opportunity 
Software development has always been one of the most active parts of the tech landscape. 
The tools change. The skills in demand shift. Good engineers remain hard to find. 
You'll work with clients across Sydney and Melbourne, helping them build capability across software engineering and development teams. Some will be hiring for today's needs. Others will be planning for what's next. 
Your job is to understand where they're heading, find the people who can help them get there, and build relationships that last longer than a single placement.

You're an experienced agency recruiter who enjoys business development, building client relationships and growing a specialist desk. 
You'll be motivated by the opportunity to take ownership of an established Software Development market and continue building on its success. 
Some of our consultants progress into leadership roles. Others build highly successful desks and become recognised specialists in their field.
