Investing in our contractors is something we take very seriously. We have two aims: make every contractor feel part of the Clicks team, and give them the support that allows them to deliver their best.
We provide a dedicated Contractor Care Manager to each contractor. Clicks’ Contractor Care team also offer personalised services with a range of benefits, and the results speak for themselves.
As soon as we have confirmation that a contract is coming to a close, we conduct a thorough exit interview to maximise knowledge transfer and gather valuable feedback. The exit interview allows us to ensure an optimum fit for our contractor’s future roles, and refine the success profile for future placements with your organisation.
Recruitment Methodology
Understand You and Your Needs
- Take a job brief using our comprehensive template.
- Understand your organisation’s values, EVP, diversity and inclusion status, and alignment of remuneration budget to candidate success profile.
- Agree on recruitment process, criteria, timeline. Share success profile with Sourcing Specialists to start search.
- Maintain regular communication with all stakeholders from this point on.
Finding You the Best Candidates
- Clicks’ Sourcing Specialists will use personal connections and advanced technology to quickly find the best candidates.
- Clicks sources candidates through semantic searching, AI matching, personal referrals, marketing tools, talent pools, search tools, database of 100,000+ IT professionals and relevant job boards.
Screening and Assessing
- Review CVs and cover letters of potential candidates, looking for relevant skills and experience.
- Phone screen to check fit with top 3 requirements, work rights, salary, location, availability, and communication.
- Assess longlisted candidates face-to-face with behavioural and preferential questions. Shortlist three for consideration.
- Prepare candidate summaries with culture fit, personality, work history, career goals, availability and pay.
- Reject unsuitable candidates as they fail to pass to the next stage.
- Clicks can add more steps (work samples, checks, tests, medicals) to the recruitment process if required.
- Arrange interviews for 3 x shortlisted candidates with you. Provide detailed candidate coaching prior to each interview.
- Conduct reference checks with a minimum of two recent direct managers for preferred candidates.
Managing the Offer Stage
- Act as intermediary to ensure successful acceptance of employment. Manage candidate through resignation, pre-boarding, any potential counter-offers, and withdrawal from other job applications.
- Ensure both parties are satisfied with the job scope, remuneration, conditions, and start date.
Ongoing Care and Communication
- Clicks’ award-winning Candidate Care team will maintain frequent contact during the first three months to ensure the
success of the placement and compliance with Workplace Health & Safety regulations. - Contact quarterly for 12 months for permanent placements. 93% of Clicks placements last 12+ months.
- For contract placements, contact will be quarterly after the first quarter, in addition to WHS onboarding and events such as Contractor of the Year, movie nights, Christmas parties, industry seminars, birthdays, and anniversaries.
