Key duties and responsibilities
The role is to support the delivery of new/updated sites that will be used by business areas ; and undertake an assessment of the current Oracle WebCenter environments; and will involve:
- Work with the business team to develop the site concept, interface design, and architecture of the site(s).
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, and implement software code (such as HTML, CGI, CSS, XML, JSON, JavaScript, PHP) for the Oracle WebCenter.
- Perform initial testing of the newly developed code.
- Perform deployment of sites/updates to development, test and production environments adhering to change and control processes.
- Developing, or assisting in developing of operational procedure documents for the support of Oracle WebCenter and associated tools.
Essential criteria
- Competency in current web technologies (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML).
- 3+ years' experience working as an Oracle WebCenter Developer including exposure to the latest version: 12c.
- Experience with Apache Nutch or similar web crawler products.
- Experience with Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana and Logstash).
- Experience in developing and maintaining technical documentation.
