Change and Training Manager

A Queensland Government agency is undertaking a major digital transformation and is seeking a Change & Training Manager to lead structured change and end-user training across iterative software releases. This long-term program will deliver a modern, web‑based solution with enhanced service layers and mobile access.

The Role:
Reporting to the Project Director, you'll own the change management and training strategy for the program. You'll lead a team of Change Analysts/Trainers, design and implement change frameworks, manage stakeholder communications, assess readiness, and develop digital training materials that align with ongoing development sprints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute change management and stakeholder engagement plans

• Lead and mentor a team of Change Analysts/Trainers

• Collaborate with project leadership to define communication and transition strategies

• Design, develop, and deliver digital training content throughout the software lifecycle

• Identify and mitigate resistance, conduct impact analyses, and measure change success

• Establish and maintain a project intranet site for stakeholder updates

• Align change and training activities with program objectives and benefits realization

What You'll Bring:

• 5+ years' experience in change management roles with structured methodology

• Proven track record in designing and delivering training for ICT programs

• Strong expertise in change frameworks, communication strategies, and stakeholder engagement

• Excellent written and verbal communication, active listening, and facilitation skills

• Experience managing change in complex, multi‑vendor environments

• Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and foster collaboration
