About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer to join a high-performing Agile delivery team within a federal government agency. The role involves modernising existing business applications by redeveloping legacy forms and repositories into robust, scalable, and user-friendly solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform.

As part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, you will play a key role in building sustainable, enterprise-grade applications that support critical business functions and improve service delivery outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with cross-functional teams and product owners to design, develop, and implement innovative solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform.
• Develop applications and workflows using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Apps Portals, and Dynamics 365 CRM.
• Conduct technical analysis and solution design, including evaluating multiple development approaches.
• Configure and optimise Dynamics 365 CRM to enhance performance, scalability, and usability.
• Ensure applications deliver a high-quality, dynamic, and responsive user experience.
• Contribute to Agile development practices, including participation in daily stand-ups, planning sessions, and retrospectives.
• Document solutions, configuration settings, and design decisions clearly and comprehensively.
• Collaborate in peer reviews and provide input during solution walkthroughs.
• Operate effectively within a DevOps and Scaled Agile (SAFe) framework.

Required Skills and Experience

• Active Baseline Security Clearance (Mandatory)
• Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Portals, and Dynamics 365 CRM)
• Strong technical understanding of Power Platform architecture and development best practices
• Experience configuring and extending Dynamics 365 CRM for business applications
• Proven ability to develop intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces
• Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong documentation and collaborative skills

Desirable

• Previous experience working in federal or public sector environments
• Familiarity with accessibility and security standards applicable to government digital services
• Experience with data integration and migration in Power Platform solutions
