About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer to join a high-performing Agile delivery team within a federal government agency. The role involves modernising existing business applications by redeveloping legacy forms and repositories into robust, scalable, and user-friendly solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform.
As part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, you will play a key role in building sustainable, enterprise-grade applications that support critical business functions and improve service delivery outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and product owners to design, develop, and implement innovative solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Develop applications and workflows using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Apps Portals, and Dynamics 365 CRM.
- Conduct technical analysis and solution design, including evaluating multiple development approaches.
- Configure and optimise Dynamics 365 CRM to enhance performance, scalability, and usability.
- Ensure applications deliver a high-quality, dynamic, and responsive user experience.
- Contribute to Agile development practices, including participation in daily stand-ups, planning sessions, and retrospectives.
- Document solutions, configuration settings, and design decisions clearly and comprehensively.
- Collaborate in peer reviews and provide input during solution walkthroughs.
- Operate effectively within a DevOps and Scaled Agile (SAFe) framework.
Required Skills and Experience
- Active Baseline Security Clearance (Mandatory)
- Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Portals, and Dynamics 365 CRM)
- Strong technical understanding of Power Platform architecture and development best practices
- Experience configuring and extending Dynamics 365 CRM for business applications
- Proven ability to develop intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong documentation and collaborative skills
Desirable
- Previous experience working in federal or public sector environments
- Familiarity with accessibility and security standards applicable to government digital services
- Experience with data integration and migration in Power Platform solutions
