Environment
I am currently working with a well-funded gaming business focused on creating immersive experiences for players. As they scale rapidly, they are looking for a Social Media Manager who can build their social presence from scratch and foster a vibrant, engaged community of gamers.

The Role
The Social Media Manager will take the lead in building and executing their social media strategy. You'll own the brand's voice across channels, create compelling content, and engage directly with players to grow the presence and community.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement.
• Create and manage content across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Discord, etc.).
• Build the company's social presence from the ground up, establishing brand voice and tone.
• Drive community engagement, responding to comments, messages, and trends in real-time.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and design teams to align content with campaigns.
• Identify and engage with gaming influencers and partners to amplify reach.
• Analyse performance metrics and adjust strategies for growth and engagement.

About You

• 3+ years of proven experience managing social media for a new or growing business (experience in gaming or entertainment is a plus).
• Demonstrated success in building social media presence and community from scratch.
• Strong copywriting, content creation, and storytelling skills.
• Familiarity with analytics tools and ability to report on performance.
• Highly creative, trend-savvy, and proactive.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
