Group Account Director

Our client is a seeking a Group Account Director to lead key client accounts. This role combines client service leadership with hands-on social media execution. You'll own multiple accounts, manage client relationships, and oversee the development and delivery of strategic, high-quality work.

As the main point of contact for senior clients, you'll also play a key role in new business pitches and help shape the direction of the team.

You'll collaborate with experts across Creative, Strategy, Design, and Insights to deliver impactful, social-first campaigns as part of a passionate and dynamic team.

Duties:

• Lead strategic direction by aligning social initiatives with client's broader business goals, fostering strong relationships, and driving continuous innovation.
• Own the client relationship, ensuring clear communication and feedback. You'll oversee resourcing, placing the right talent on each account while keeping the team engaged and motivated.
• Oversee budgeting is aligned with the clients requirements
• Drive client growth by identifying opportunities, building relationships, and pitching ideas that advance the client's business and expand services.
• Lead responses to major campaigns and new business pitches, collaborating with cross-functional teams to shape strategic plans and creative concepts.

About you

• 10+ years in agency experience, preferably in tech or related industries
• Experience with global tech brands and AI-focused campaigns
• Strong strategic and insight-driven approach to social media
• In-depth knowledge of social media trends
• Experience working with cross agency team

This role is based in Sydney but open to Melbourne location also.
