Senior Systems Analyst - Cyber Security

Loction: ACT, NSW, VIC, QLD or SA

12-Month Contract + Extension Options


The Opportunity As a Senior Systems Analyst, you will play a key role in translating cyber security, compliance and operational requirements into fit-for-purpose technical solutions. You'll contribute to high-profile security initiatives that enhance organisational resilience, modernise capabilities, and strengthen security controls across enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and document business, functional and technical requirements.
• Develop solution designs, specifications, workflows and supporting artefacts.
• Support cyber security initiatives including:
  • Vulnerability Management
  • Identity & Access Management (IAM)
  • Security Monitoring and Operations
  • Compliance and Accreditation
  • Cloud Security
  • Risk Remediation Programs
• Conduct system and process analysis to identify security gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Create process maps, data flows, integration diagrams and technical documentation.
• Support testing, implementation and quality assurance activities.
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver secure, business-aligned outcomes.
• Contribute to governance, assurance and compliance activities.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience delivering cyber security uplift, remediation, resilience or compliance initiatives.
• Strong requirements gathering, business analysis and systems analysis skills.
• Experience developing solution designs and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of cyber security frameworks and standards including:
  • PSPF
  • ISM
  • Essential Eight
  • NIST
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience working across business, technology and security teams.

Current NV1 Security Clearance Is required for this role .
