Ready to take charge of cloud cost optimisation across a major national organisation? We're searching for a Senior Cloud FinOps Specialist who can turn data into insight, spending into strategy, and cloud chaos into clarity.
You'll be the driving force behind smarter, leaner, value‑focused cloud operations. Working across finance, engineering, governance and product teams, you'll shape how the organisation manages cloud spend across AWS, Azure, GCP and M365. Your work will directly influence strategy, budgeting, accountability, and future cloud maturity.
Responsibilities:
- Lead cloud cost optimisation across multiple platforms
- Build and mature FinOps frameworks, governance and practices
- Forecast, track and report on cloud spend
- Partner with finance, engineering and governance teams to strengthen accountability
- Produce dashboards, insights and leadership reports
- Implement tooling and automation to streamline FinOps operations
- Promote cloud financial awareness through training and advocacy
- Continuously improve cloud financial management based on industry trends
Requirements
- 5+ years in cloud financial management or cloud operations
- Strong knowledge of cloud billing models and cost structures
- Experience across major cloud platforms
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Strong analytical ability and financial modelling capability
- Strategic mindset with the ability to influence change
