Infrastructure Program Manager

The Specified Personnel will be responsible for providing the following deliverables including but not limited to:
- Liaising with ICT operational, relevant business areas and other project areas for the controlled progression of projects through Departmental environments, including detailed planning and management of the major release deployment including over weekends where appropriate;
- Undertaking high-level stakeholder consultations including cross agency clients/customers;
- Managing Program budgets and preparing Program financial forecasts;
- Providing strategic guidance, leadership to team members including developing, coaching and mentoring junior or less experienced staff to ensure appropriate skills transfer;
- Providing strategic planning, mapping and modelling development;
- Managing project activities across highly complex ICT projects using established project management methodologies;
Skills and experience required:
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of complex ICT infrastructure programs and\or projects.
- High level of management skills including the ability to lead, plan and deliver to a high standard, on budget and within tight timeframes.
- Ability to adopt and adapt project management methods and tools, ensuring effective project monitoring and control processes, change control, risk management and quality processes are employed and maintained.
- Demonstrated experience in monitoring and controlling resources, revenue and (capital and\or operating) expenditures against the project budget.
