Are you a proactive cyber security professional with a passion for threat hunting and intelligence-led defence? We're seeking a Cyber Security Threat Hunter to join a high-impact federal government program focused on protecting a global network from malicious activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct proactive threat hunts across enterprise networks
- Leverage threat intelligence to identify and investigate malicious activity
- Develop and maintain custom detection tools, dashboards, and use cases
- Analyse logs and security events to detect anomalies and recommend countermeasures
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance security posture and incident response
Ideal Candidate
- 3+ years in cyber incident response or threat hunting
- Strong experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel)
- Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat modelling
- Skilled in designing and testing detection use cases
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Industry certifications (CISSP, GCIH, GCIA) and Microsoft/Splunk credentials are highly desirable
