Solution Architect

Clicks IT Recruitment is working with a client that is a global leader in heavy machinery and industrial equipment manufacturing. In this role, you will play a key role in advancing the product suite by collaborating with diverse business, customer, and leadership stakeholders. Your focus will include enhancing mining operations of all sizes worldwide.

The Role:

• 12 Months + extensions (possibility of permanent)
• Brisbane CBD location.
• $1000 - $1100 p/d inc super

The Responsibilities:

• Lead or contribute to aligning the product's technical direction with the overall enterprise strategy.
• Develop and maintain technical roadmaps for the product suite.
• Ensure feature developments are executed in line with the established technical roadmap.
• Collaborate with various internal product lines to propose and create solution-level designs.
• Lead or contribute to the creation of Solution Architecture Designs in partnership with multiple teams.
• Engage with and support commercial teams by providing solution direction and estimating the lifecycle of feature development.

Key Skills:

• A bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with both local and remote teams.
• Capable of conveying technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with various software designs, programming languages, databases, and architectural patterns.
• Experience developing and deploying software in both cloud and on-premise environments.
• Proficiency in Cloud-Based Technologies.
• Willingness to travel interstate and internationally (approximately 25% travel commitment).
• Open to undertaking training and pursuing professional certifications as needed.
• Previous experience as a System and Solution Architect within a product delivery organisation.
• Familiarity with the mining business domain and/or mining technology OEMs.
