Solution Architect

A Queensland Government agency is seeking an experienced Enterprise & Solution Architect to support a major digital transformation project focused on implementing a new regulatory IT solution. This project plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children across Queensland, making this an opportunity to contribute to meaningful, purpose-driven work.

The Role:
You'll be responsible for reviewing current IT infrastructure, developing an enterprise architecture blueprint, and providing strategic guidance throughout the selection and implementation of a new platform. Working alongside project leads, stakeholders, and technical teams, you'll ensure that IT solutions align with the organisation's long-term objectives and are scalable, secure, and sustainable.

Key Responsibilities:
✅ Review and document the current enterprise architecture
✅ Develop a strategic IT roadmap to guide future technology needs
✅ Provide solution architecture input for procurement and implementation
✅ Align new systems with organisational goals and integration requirements
✅ Collaborate with stakeholders and project teams on solution planning
✅ Identify and mitigate architecture-related risks

What You'll Bring:
🔹 3+ years' experience in enterprise and solution architecture
🔹 Proven track record delivering IT roadmaps and architectural frameworks
🔹 Experience in large-scale digital transformation or regulatory programs
🔹 Strong systems integration, infrastructure, and scalability knowledge
🔹 Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
🔹 Public sector experience is highly regarded
