I'm looking for an experienced and proactive IT Service Desk Support Analyst to join a well-established organisation in the public sector, supporting essential services in the Bankstown area.
About the Role:
In this hands-on support role, you'll be an integral part of the IT Service Management team, providing technical assistance and advice to end users, supporting systems and devices, and contributing to service delivery excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver first-level (Service Desk) and second-level (Desktop) IT support.
- Respond to and log service calls, resolving incidents or escalating when necessary.
- Set up, maintain, and monitor IT hardware, software, and systems.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop and network infrastructure.
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on a range of devices and platforms.
- Create and maintain support documentation to reduce downtime and support consistent service delivery.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to identify and implement improvements.
What I'm Looking For:
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or equivalent industry experience.
- ITIL Foundation knowledge.
- Valid NSW C Class Driver's Licence.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar IT support role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and Office applications.
- Familiarity with Citrix environments.
- Proven customer service skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
Desirable:
- Formal IT certifications (e.g., ITIL, Microsoft Desktop Support)
- Experience in a government or public sector setting
- 3+ years in a comparable role
