- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco ASA firewalls, particularly ACL configurations.
- Solid understanding of network security principles and the ability to analyse firewall logs and rule performance.
- Proficient in creating clear and thorough documentation for configurations and audit findings.
- Familiarity with enterprise-level change control processes and the ability to navigate them seamlessly.
- Exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Desirable "Nice-to-Have" Experience (While not essential, experience in these areas will set you apart)
- Proficiency in tools like Ansible, Python, AWX, and REST APIs to streamline network operations.
- Familiarity with tools such as SolarWinds, Splunk, and TIG stack for monitoring and analysis.
- Identifying opportunities to reduce manual processes through automation.
