Senior .NET Developer

About our client

We are currently partnering with a NSW State Government agency that is delivering a major digital transformation program. This initiative is focused on building modern, secure, and scalable solutions that improve service delivery and outcomes for the community.

Role Purpose

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to an important reform project that will impact communities across NSW, while working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Government experience is not required - the most important factor is your technical expertise. Full working rights in Australia is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure applications in .NET.

• Build and enhance user-friendly and accessible web applications.

• Write high-quality, clean, and testable code, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.

• Deliver integration with REST APIs and SQL databases.

• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and optimise application performance.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines.

• Contribute to technical documentation and process improvement initiatives.

• Manage competing priorities within tight delivery timeframes.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development.

• Proven expertise with .NET Core / .NET 6+ and C#.

• Strong skills in front-end technologies (React, Angular, or Vue).

• Experience with REST-based services and API development.

• Strong knowledge of SQL Server and database design.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
