Infrastructure Design Engineer

I'm looking for an experienced Infrastructure Design Engineer who enjoys sitting at the intersection of architecture and hands-on delivery. This role is all about translating high-level architectural concepts into practical, detailed technical designs that teams can actually build from.

You'll work closely with an established Architecture function to co-design infrastructure solutions, review and challenge implementation approaches, and provide technical leadership as solutions move through delivery. If you enjoy being the "technical glue" between strategy and execution, this one's for you.

What you'll be doing

• Partnering with the Architecture team to co-design infrastructure solutions
• Translating high-level concepts into detailed, build-ready technical designs
• Reviewing and validating implementation approaches
• Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers during delivery
• Ensuring designs align with security, operational, and enterprise standards

What you'll bring

Strong hands-on capability across:

• Active Directory
• Entra ID
• Windows 11
• Group Policy
• Microsoft 365
• MECM / Intune
• Splunk
• Device vulnerability management, including patching and remediation

You'll be comfortable operating in complex environments, confident in your design decisions, and able to clearly articulate why a solution works, not just how.
