Senior SAP Infrastructure Engineer

Role based across Australia

The Infrastructure Engineer will provide specialised support across SAP (Systems Applications and Products) landscape, including SAP ECC (ERP Central Component), SAP BW (Business Warehouse), SAP EP (Enterprise Portal), and SAP HANA (High-Performance Analytic Appliance). The role covers both BAU (Business as Usual) support for the existing Azure-hosted SAP HANA environment and technical leadership for migration, configuration, and ongoing support as our client explores a future transition to an SAP S/4HANA cloud environment.

Key duties and responsibilities

The Infrastructure Engineer will provide professional services including, but not limited to:

• SAP Basis administration.
• Support for the following SAP Basis modules: ECC, BW, Enterprise Portal, Solution Manager.
• Migration and configuration support for SAP cloud and SAP Cloud Connector.
• Installation, configuring, patching, performance monitoring and troubleshooting SAP Hana databases.
• Expertise and problem-solving support in the context of implementations and enhancements, new user requirements and technical support.

Skills and Experience required:

• Demonstrated shell scripting and PL/SQL programming skills
• Experience in installing, configuring & patching SAP databases
• Significant SAP Basis/HANA database technical expertise
• Experience in Performance Monitoring.
