We're seeking a confident and proactive Manager, Online Services to drive the delivery of sustainable, user-centred digital products and services across the state. This is a unique opportunity to shape high-impact online solutions at the heart of government.
About the Role
As Manager, Online Services, you will:
- Lead the technical development and implementation of digital solutions that support high-quality communication, engagement, and service delivery.
- Oversee major digital projects and day-to-day updates across existing platforms.
- Manage coding standards, uplift development environments, and embed best practices.
- Collaborate with account managers, clients, and team members to deliver accessible, functional, and user-focused online experiences.
- Champion whole-of-government digital standards and contribute to cross-agency collaboration.
What You'll Be Doing
- Developing and executing digital project plans and web strategies aligned with departmental and government priorities.
- Staying ahead of technical trends in digital design and online communications.
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Leading a high-performing team and fostering a collaborative, inclusive culture.
- Managing workloads, mitigating risks, and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.
What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience leading teams in the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality internet and intranet sites.
- Proven ability to deliver innovative, responsive, and user-friendly digital experiences.
- Relevant qualifications in ICT or Information Technology (highly regarded).
- Advanced proficiency in platforms and tools such as:
- Squiz Matrix
- SharePoint Online
- Adobe Dreamweaver
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Analytics/Data Studio
- ASP.NET (highly desirable)
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as required.
