ENMP Commercial and Procurement Specialist

• Lead procurement activities, conduct negotiations, and deliver recommendations that achieve service and budget outcomes.
• Develop acquisition strategies to fulfill complex sourcing needs, engage with suppliers across the market to understand offerings and capabilities, interpret and execute sourcing strategies, analyse data and markets, and professionally present findings and recommendations.
• Understand costing methods, cost make-up, and analyse financial information
• Provide timely contract advice and interpretation, utilising exceptional negotiation skills to conduct commercial negotiations with suppliers
• Support the program and business in managing contract and commercial relationships between key suppliers and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with program stakeholders to develop and define the scope and requirements, ensuring alignment with program objectives and stakeholder expectations.
• Demonstrate confidence in managing and delivering acceptable commercial outcomes in dispute management and resolution.
• Shape contractual terms and conditions, involving legal when required, employing best practices in contracting methods to manage risk and maximise value.
• Develop expenditure approval and contract execution briefing documentation for management and executives.
• Collaborate with the program stakeholder and the business to manage high-risk, high-value contracts, leveraging subject matter expertise to influence performance management, financial management, transition in and out, risk management, and supplier due diligence initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures and maintain accurate records of all procurement activities.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and efficiency in procurement processes.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
• Represent Commercial team in program-wide consultative forums such as change management
