Project and Change Manager

• Australian Citizenship with NV1 Clearence required

• 12 month Contract with 12 months extension

Our client a large Government organisation is looking for a Change manager withing the IT project space to help them embark on a program of change.

The Project and Change Manager will support the required work packages and transition to Operations-related activities, including the creation, distribution, and management of communication materials/artefacts such as a Project Plan, Risk Plan, and Change Management Plan.

Key Duties in the role:

• Collaborate closely with business areas, technical experts, and external resources to deliver project outcomes.

• Effectively plan and coordinate activities to ensure successful delivery of project outcomes.

• Coordinate the delivery of project outcomes in alignment with architecture, program delivery, and financial objectives.

• Develop and maintain project artefacts, including project plans, status reports, and benefits management documents.

• Develop a communications engagement and change strategy to support stakeholders, align expectations with project objectives, and realise ROI and benefits.

• Perform risk management activities for projects, ensuring adherence to appropriate and effective governance arrangements supported by comprehensive reporting.

• Establish, maintain, and coordinate stakeholder engagement to facilitate input.

• Possess a solid understanding and experience of how individuals undergo change processes, support change sponsors and their coalition, and ensure project ROI through effective change management.

• Demonstrate experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools, such as Prosci/ADKAR, with the ability to conduct change assessments and monitor/report on change implementation.
