A Queensland Government department is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the successful delivery of a large-scale enterprise IT system. This role will be central to defining business requirements, improving processes, and ensuring the solution meets stakeholder needs and project objectives.
The Role:
Working closely with project managers, technical teams, and business stakeholders, you'll gather and analyse requirements, support system design and testing, and help drive user-focused outcomes as part of a critical transformation program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews
- Define current and future state processes
- Support user acceptance testing and solution validation
- Assist with change impact analysis and communication
- Ensure traceability of requirements through to implementation
What You'll Bring:
- 5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in government
- Proven experience supporting large IT implementation projects
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Solid understanding of business process modelling and documentation standards
- Experience with Agile, PRINCE2, or hybrid delivery environments
- Previous experience in Queensland Government highly regarded
