About The Role
As an IT Application Architect, you will be instrumental in shaping the technical landscape in alignment with our organisational patterns, policies, and objective. Your role will involve designing robust and scalable architectural solutions that enable developers to build high-quality applications efficiently. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, provide architectural guidance, and ensure that the solutions align with best practices and business goals.
Our Ideal Job Seeker
An application architect will have a combination of architectural and technical skills to support architecture of sustainable and resilient applications:
- Experience in system architecture in event driven and microservice environments
- Knowledge of AWS cloud skills and services
- Familiarity with database technology such as SQL and NoSQL and data modelling
- Knowledge of integration technologies such as API integration design patterns and message queues
- Ability to review and provide feedback on relevant application architectural documents
- Ability to define solutions to support integration with other cloud, on-premise and mainframe systems via a variety of approaches (APIs, ETL etc…)
The role will be available in Melbourne (Docklands), Adelaide, Canberra and Brisbane
