About Our Client
We are looking for an Odoo Specialist to join our client and take ownership of our client's ERP system's manufacturing and inventory functions. This is a hands-on role requiring strong experience with Odoo, particularly in manufacturing, warehouse, and inventory control.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct ongoing cycle counts to ensure accurate stock management in Odoo.
- Set up and maintain product information in Odoo with meticulous attention to detail, including uploading product images and datasheets.
- Ensure accurate and efficient warehouse operations including receipting and dispatching products.
- Manage and supervise the Warehouse & Logistics Officer to ensure:
- Sales orders are dispatched on the same day where possible.
- Sales staff are notified promptly when goods arrive.
- Maintain and update product pricelists in Odoo, using advanced Excel skills to ensure data accuracy.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures using the Odoo Knowledge App, including checklists and videos.
- Generate and analyse key Odoo reports including stock valuation, internal transfers, and external receipts with clear transaction locations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance ERP functionality and resolve system issues.
- Perform general administrative support duties as required.
What Will Make You a Good Fit for the Role?
- Proven experience with Odoo ERP, especially in manufacturing, inventory, and product management.
- In-depth knowledge of MOF, BOM, product structures, warehouse operations, and inventory control.
- Strong experience with the Odoo Knowledge App for SOP documentation.
- Previous experience updating supplier pricing in Odoo with advanced Excel skills.
- Diploma in Logistics Management or equivalent experience.
- Strong management skills to lead warehouse and logistics functions.
- Proficient in commercial inventory systems with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent administrative and organisational capabilities.
- Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency.
Nice to Have
- Odoo certification or formal ERP training.
- Understanding of supply chain and manufacturing best practices.
