Integration Engineer

Are you passionate about building high-performance integrations and APIs? We're looking for an Integration Engineer to design and deliver cutting-edge solutions that connect complex enterprise systems.

We need someone with extensive hands-on experience with FastAPI and Python, and a proven track record of delivering projects using these technologies. If you thrive in API-led architectures and love working with modern integration platforms, this role is for you.

• Design and implement System, Process, and Experience APIs using FastAPI.
• Build scalable integrations leveraging Apache Airflow, Kafka Messaging, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop robust data transformation logic in Python for JSON/XML mappings between legacy systems and Salesforce Education Data Architecture (EDA).
• Ensure security and compliance with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and enterprise SSO/IAM systems.
• Implement centralized logging, monitoring, and error handling across integrations.

• FastAPI expertise - proven track record of building production-grade APIs (3 year min experience)
• Strong Python programming skills for data transformation and enrichment (essential)
• Familiarity with Kafka, Apache Airflow, and containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes) (essential)
• Experience with Salesforce APIs (REST, Bulk, Streaming, Composite).
• Knowledge of integration patterns (request/reply, publish/subscribe, async queue).
• Understanding of authentication standards and security best practices.

• Integrations with systems like SMS (Callista, TechnologyOne, PeopleSoft), LMS (Moodle, Canvas), and CRM/Marketing platforms.
• Certifications: Salesforce Integration Architect, AWS/Azure Integration or Data Engineer
