Key duties and responsibilities
Reporting to the ERP Program Manager in the Digital Workplace Branch, the ERP Project Manager is responsible for working closely with a wide range of stakeholders including senior management, vendors, and 3rd party providers to assist with the project to plan then implement the departments future ERP landscape.
You will be required to perform a range typical project management activities including project reporting, managing governance arrangements, maintaining project schedules and, managing scope, identifying and tracking risks and issues, budget reporting all with a particular focus on stakeholder management and communications, vendor management and people change management.Technical skills
We are seeking an individual with the following skills and capabilities:
- Experience in establishing, communicating, and leading large scale projects, preferably ICT projects.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Project planning and project management skills, including risk and issue management, budget etc.
- Ability to lead teams of people delivering complex outcomes.
- Ability to work closely with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior management and vendors
Skills and Experience required:
- Experience project managing major ICT system upgrades or enhancements.
- Experience establishing, communicating, and managing project management and communication artefacts in conformance with internal and external policies, frameworks, and best practices.
- Federal government experience managing a procurement process.
