About the Role

A leading travel insurance company is seeking a talented Front-End Developer to join its growing technology team. Reporting directly to the CTO, you'll play a key role in building and enhancing customer-facing applications that deliver exceptional digital experiences.

You'll work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where strong coding skills, communication, and attention to detail are valued. This role is ideal for someone who takes direction well, enjoys solving problems, and can translate design concepts into seamless, high-performing web interfaces.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain responsive, high-quality web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to deliver integrated, scalable solutions.
• Translate design and business requirements into clean, efficient, maintainable code.
• Optimise front-end performance and ensure cross-browser and device compatibility.
• Contribute to UI/UX improvements and ensure a consistent look and feel across products.

What We're Looking For

• 3-5 years' experience as a Front-End Developer or Software Engineer.
• Strong hands-on expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Solid understanding of modern front-end practices and tooling.
• Some experience with back-end technologies or REST APIs (advantageous).
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including version control and testing.
• Collaborative mindset - able to take direction, work in teams, and meet deadlines.
• Must hold full working rights in Australia (no sponsorship available).
