About the Role
As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of a complex SaaS environment. Your focus will be on building and operating scalable, resilient systems, embedding automation, and proactively identifying and resolving issues before they impact customers.
You will work closely with engineering and delivery teams to improve infrastructure, operational practices, and monitoring capabilities. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong communication, enabling you to clearly articulate risks, incidents, and improvements to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Due to the nature of the work, an active Australian Government security clearance is required.
Role can be located in either Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Melbroune, Adelaide or Perth.
What You'll Bring
You are an experienced reliability or systems engineer who thrives in complex environments and takes ownership of outcomes. You bring a customer‑centric mindset and a strong appreciation for availability, security, and operational excellence.
You will also bring:
- Proven experience in Site Reliability Engineering, systems engineering, or similar roles
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills across highly technical environments
- Experience designing, automating, and operating scalable infrastructure
- Knowledge of relational databases such as SQL and/or PostgreSQL
- The ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and confidently
- A collaborative approach, including mentoring peers and contributing to continuous improvement
- A strong sense of accountability and attention to detail
Due to government security requirements, you hold a current TSPV or TSPA clearance. For the right candidates, we're open to considering NV2 cleared candidate or a current NV2 and are willing to upgrade.
