Contract
Join the Identity & Collaboration Platforms (ICP) team and lead the design, enhancement and support of core Google Workspace services. You'll be accountable for the end‑to‑end operation of the Google Workspace suite, SMTP services, and secure email delivery across multiple domains - including maintaining DMARC compliance for internal and third‑party senders.
What you'll do
- Lead platform planning & roadmaps for Google Workspace; identify and adopt new capabilities that deliver measurable value.
- Own secure email delivery across domains (SMTP, routing and policies) and enforce SPF/DKIM/DMARC to protect deliverability and reputation.
- Run change management for Workspace: assess vendor updates, design implementation plans, evaluate risk and govern release quality.
- Provide L3 support & escalation for Google Workspace and ICP services; diagnose complex incidents, drive resolution and post‑incident recovery.
- Capacity & performance management: model demand, forecast growth, collect performance statistics and maintain operational documentation.
- Security administration: monitor for breaches, investigate thoroughly, remediate quickly, and uplift policy, standards and controls.
- Continuous improvement: analyse patterns and trends, implement preventative measures, and refine procedures to strengthen reliability.
What you'll bring
- 7-10+ years' experience administering enterprise collaboration/email platforms in complex organisations.
- Deep Google Workspace administration (Admin Console, Gmail mailflow, Groups, Drive/Docs, security & compliance).
- Strong cyber mindset-ability to translate security objectives into actionable configurations and guardrails in Workspace.
- Email infrastructure expertise: SMTP, SPF, DKIM, DMARC policy/design/monitoring; hands‑on troubleshooting at scale.
- Evidence‑based technical advice; excellent stakeholder engagement, influence and negotiation skills.
- Advanced analytical, conceptual and planning skills; proven ability to prioritise and deliver in a large environment.
- A genuine commitment to excellent customer service in a technical setting.
Nice to have
- Experience tailoring vendor releases/feature updates for large Workspace tenants.
- Familiarity with SIEM and mail security gateways; Workspace reporting and telemetry.
- Prior multi‑domain environment experience.
