Senior Business Analyst - IT Investments & Initiatives
12-Month Contract | Hybrid (2-3 Days in Office - Sydney)

We're looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our client's IT Investments & Initiatives team - the first stop for all new IT projects and change proposals. You'll help shape ideas into well-defined business cases and ensure every initiative aligns with organisational priorities and delivers real value.

What You'll Do

• Lead early-stage analysis and assess feasibility, scope, and alignment for new IT initiatives

• Develop clear, well-structured business cases and investment proposals with financial modelling and benefits realisation

• Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, Finance, and PMO to manage the pipeline and support investment decisions

• Prepare concise, high-quality documentation and presentations for senior and executive stakeholders

About You

• Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst within complex IT or enterprise environments

• Strong background in pre-discovery analysis and developing business cases

• Solid understanding of financial modelling, project planning, and resource forecasting

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - confident engaging with executives and C-suite

• Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities

• Experience within higher education or similar complex organisations is a plus
