Role Overview
My client is seeking a mid-to-senior level specialist to lead the optimisation and delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) CRM across the organisation. This role is responsible for bridging the gap between technical vendors and business stakeholders, ensuring D365 is fully leveraged to support business objectives and drive process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Dynamics 365 CRM Ownership:
- Lead the utilisation, optimisation, and ongoing support of D365 CRM.
- Work with vendors for technical support, development, and platform upgrades.
- Understand and apply the DevOps lifecycle to D365 and related applications.
Business Engagement & Project Delivery:
- Engage with business users to understand current usage, future needs, and process gaps.
- Define and document requirements, map out project pipelines, and drive delivery of new initiatives.
- Lead the delivery of enhancements and upgrades based on business cases.
Education & Change Management:
- Educate and upskill business users on D365 capabilities and best practices.
- Support change management and adoption of new processes.
BAU Support:
- Provide advanced support for D365, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Ensure application performance meets agreed KPIs and SLAs.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management:
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Oversee procurement, contract negotiation, and vendor performance.
About You
Experience:
- Mid to senior level, with strong technical knowledge of Dynamics 365 CRM.
- Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering.
- Background in technical roles (e.g., developer, technical consultant) with progression into business-facing or project management positions.
- Experience working with vendors and managing technical projects.
Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage expectations, prioritise tasks, and show initiative.
- Organisational and documentation skills.
- Understanding of the DevOps lifecycle and project delivery methodologies (PRINCE2, Agile).
