I'm seeking an experienced Test Lead to oversee the quality assurance for critical public-facing corporate website as it undergoes major enhancements to support significant ongoing operational changes. The website is built on the Kentico CMS platform and integrates with multiple other applications.
What You'll Be Doing
You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing testing activities and will be the driving force ensuring the website meets all business, design, and operational requirements.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the distribution of work to Test Analysts within the team, fostering capability uplift in emerging testing technologies and streamlined ways of working.
- Manage testing dependencies across interfacing systems and plan for complex test data setup.
- Monitor and report on test progress and status, analyse results, isolate, report, and manage defects. You will articulate key testing issues and risks, providing expert advice and recommendations.
- Oversee System, System Integration, Compatibility testing, and coordinate User Acceptance (UAT) and Non-functional testing.
- Analyse requirements to create test strategies and plans, then identify, define, and execute test cases based on specifications.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Senior Test Analyst/Test Lead role, experienced across all phases of the test lifecycle, including working in Agile or Hybrid methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience in System, System Integration testing, Application Programming Interface (API) testing, Compatibility testing, and supporting User Acceptance and Non-Functional testing.
- Experience creating and implementing Test Strategies, Test Plans, and producing Test Progress and Summary Reports. Demonstrated understanding of testing principles, methodologies, and tools (such as JIRA, Zephyr, and Scale). Knowledge of SQL is required.
- Testing certification with a Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Computer Science.
- Excellent communication and time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
