Clicks' client are seeking a contract Software Engineer for a contract role.
Term: Until June 2026, with a possible 12‑month extension.
Context: Unique independent delivery role, operate solo day‑to‑day while professionally representing our client to their customers.
What you'll bring:
- Advanced, hands‑on Java
- Integrating complex systems/components
- Experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes
- Fluent in Agile practices and frameworks
- Self‑directed execution with sound judgement; seek guidance when needed
- Confident engaging directly with customers/end users
- Resilient in ambiguous, research‑driven environments; adapt to evolving scope
Nice to have:
- Working knowledge of Python
- Exposure to C++
Due to security requirements, you must be holding a Negative Vetting 1 security clearance (or higher) at the time of application.
