Our Client is looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to design and deliver innovative AWS-based solutions for a major digital transformation initiative. You'll collaborate with a team of technical specialists to build secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud architectures that enable advanced data engineering, machine learning, and automation capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement AWS cloud solutions with a focus on security and performance.
• Develop scalable data engineering and integration pipelines.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CDK), containerization, and Kubernetes.
• Drive automation and CI/CD practices across environments.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver optimal solutions.
• Stay ahead of emerging cloud technologies and share knowledge within the team.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years' experience in AWS cloud engineering and solution design.
• Strong skills in IaC (Terraform/CDK), Kubernetes, DevOps, and GitOps.
• Expertise in relational and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB), Spark, SQL, and data formats (Parquet/Delta Lake/Iceberg).
• Programming experience in Java, Scala, and Python.
• Proven ability to design pipelines for data ingestion, movement, and transformation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Desirable

• Experience with cloud data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and orchestration tools.
• Understanding of AI/ML principles and MLOps.
• Agile/SCRUM experience and automated testing.
